State University System Optional Retirement Program (SUSORP) participants now contribute 3% and the employer contribution is now 7.92%.
SSN now required on all health plan additions
Due to the state’s mandatory social security number (SSN) requirement, expectant parents may no longer add unborn babies, newborns, or adopted children to the state health plan without an SSN. Previously, employees had 31 days from the date of birth or adoption to enroll their child in the health plan.
