    April 2013

Online Promotion and Tenure system now available for 2013-14 cycle

OPTAfter two years of development and piloting, the Office of the Provost has introduced a new workflow and opened a new online system for its annual promotion and tenure process.  Online Promotion & Tenure—or “OPT”—employs the myUFL system for uploading, reviewing, tracking and signing-off on all promotion, tenure and/or permanent status packets produced by faculty candidates.

Online training courses designed for both department and college administrators will be available beginning April 5, and several larger colleges and units will be hosting equivalent classroom training during the month of April. Administrators must complete either the classroom or online training in order to request new security roles that will grant them access to the OPT system.

Pollen allergy season gets an early start
