UF Health Integrative Medicine Conference to explore nutrition and culinary medicine

uf health integrativeNutrition and culinary medicine is the focus of the 3rd Annual UF Integrative Medicine Conference. Featuring David Katz, M.D., and Anne VanBeber, PhD., the conference provides an excellent opportunity for the healthcare practitioner and general public to acquire current information on nutritional science and research. In addition to covering topics on nutritional interventions for specific disease conditions, this conference will also present information on eating practices that foster mindfulness and support the good of our community and our world.

In partnership with the UF Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences and the UF Poe Center for Business Ethics, the conference offers a more expansive view of food as science, medicine and lifestyle.

The conference will be held Saturday, April 16, from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the UF Harrell Medical Education Building.
