Jazz concert features alumni, students and special guests

th (3)UF alumni from throughout the country will return to campus on Saturday, Feb. 20, to perform in and attend a special concert, “Bobby Shew Live,” featuring the UF Jazz Band and Gary Langford. Scott Wilson, head of UF’s Jazz program, says the reunion concert is a dream in the making. Planning for the concert, which will feature alumni and students playing alongside one another, began when he found a CD in the archives of a 1983 concert at UF featuring Bobby Shew and the UF Jazz Band.
