The Leadership Toolkit is designed to provide you with tools to enhance the leadership qualities you already possess, while cultivating new strengths through education and training. Included in the toolkit are job aids, video/audio podcasts, and suggested readings. These resources will assist your efforts in being a better manager and leader and are available whenever you need them.

In this podcast episode, listeners will learn about sneaky critters that lurk in our subconscious called “mindbugs.” These are hidden biases that can impact the organizations we lead. Mindbugs are not conscious decisions we make as individuals. Instead, they are engrained habits of thought that lead to error in how we perceive, remember, reason and make decisions.

Research shows that, despite our best intentions, hidden biases are part of our subconscious. Even worse, the same research has shown that mindbugs cannot be exterminated. However, they can be outsmarted. Listen to the “Outsmarting Mindbugs” podcast episode to learn how through awareness, acknowledgement and a conscious effort, we can prevent their influence on our decisions.
