recently-enacted-billThe 2016 Florida Legislature recently enacted House Bill 5003, which mandates that costs for lodging associated with a meeting, conference, or convention organized or sponsored in whole or in part by a state agency or the judicial branch may not exceed $150 per day.

This applies to lodging for UF employees attending an event that the University of Florida has organized or is sponsoring. Amounts greater than $150 may be paid with alternative funding sources.
