Windows to Wellness event provided employees with opportunities to support their well-being

On Wednesday, Jan. 25, UFHR hosted its second annual “Windows to Wellness” fair at the Reitz Union. Approximately 300 employees attended the event, which featured a variety of health screenings, ergonomic posture assessments, wellness and retirement planning workshops, and healthy refreshments.

“Sold-out” sessions included a lunch-and-learn with registered dietitian nutritionist, Lauren Acosta, from the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition, and container garden workshops with Alachua county extension agent, Denise DeBusk.
