Expanded Benefits & Wellness Fair, ALEX enhance Open Enrollment experience
The 2017 UF Benefits & Wellness Fair was bigger and better than ever, with 61 tables representing UF’s many benefits and financial planning vendors as well as a range of organizations dedicated to providing an enhanced quality of life for UF’s faculty and staff. Approximately 2,400 employees attended this year’s event, held at the Ben Hill Griffin Stadium’s Champions Club, to learn more about their benefits options and to complete a range of health and wellness screenings.
In addition to an expanded fair, many faculty and staff met ALEX, UFHR’s new online benefits counselor, during this year’s Open Enrollment period. To date, ALEX has seen nearly 6,000 visits, with 72 percent reporting they have a better understanding of their benefits options after visiting.
