UF launches new Sexual Violence and Harassment Awareness and Prevention course

The University of Florida has launched a new course aimed at educating employees on recognizing and preventing sexual harassment, misconduct and discrimination on campus. The course, GET803: Maintaining a Safe and Respectful Campus: Sexual Violence, Harassment and Discrimination Awareness and Prevention.

The new UF-developed course requires only 35 minutes to complete and replaces two previous trainings developed by third-party vendors, GET802: Preventing Harassment and GET804: Title IX Responsible Persons.

The Sexual Violence and Harassment Awareness and Prevention course seeks to not only apply the best practices in Title IX education, but to support the university’s commitment to a safe and non-discriminatory working and learning environment for all of its students, employees and guests.
