Deadline to claim Flex Spending Account expenses
Sunday, Apr 15, 2018 All 2017 expenses must be incurred by the end of the grace period—March 15—or the IRS “use-it-or-lose-it” rule will apply. Claims for 2017 expenses must be filed by the final filing date of April 15, 2018. Learn more.

“Faculty 500” initiative aims to hire 200 new faculty by fall
To support UF’s “Faculty 500” effort, UF Human Resources recently partnered with 160/90 and University Communications to develop a new recruitment brochure and an accompanying promotional website. In addition, the Faculty Search Committee Toolkit has been redesigned to better support departments undertaking faculty searches.
State audit of insurance dependents coming this March
UF employees with covered dependents should keep a close eye out for dependent verification requests from Health Management Systems (HMS) beginning this March to ensure their dependents do not lose coverage.
