New job codes for OPS employees beginning May 4

UF Human Resources has created seven new job codes to more accurately reflect the type of work being performed by non-student hourly OPS employees throughout the university. Beginning May 4, all new non-student hourly OPS hires will require a new job code.

In addition, department administrators with ePAF roles will need to convert existing job codes to the new ones for current non-student hourly OPS employees. An OPS job code file will open on Monday, May 21, and remain open until Friday, June 8. Those with the security role of UF_EPAF_Department Admin or UF_EPAF_Level 1 Approver will have access to the file, which will capture all active OPS hourly appointments throughout the university. UFHR will be communicating directly with those who have the necessary security roles to provide additional information about this update.

A guide with definitions and examples of the new job code categories can be found in the Job and Position Actions toolkit. The myUFL system navigation to the file for those who have ePAF roles is:

Main Menu > Human Resources > Workforce Administration > UF OnTarget
