Additional faculty accolades announced

Last month, UF at Work shared news of faculty and staff who were recently recognized at home and abroad. We heard from readers about some additional awards, which we are pleased to share in this month’s issue.

For 2017-18, DeEtta Rhodes of the College of Health and Human Performance received the university’s Professional Adviser Award and Julia Varnes of the College of Health and Human Performance received the Teacher of the Year Award.

Matthew Jacobs of the Department of History received the Faculty Achievement Award, which recognizes a faculty member or advisor who demonstrates distinguished achievement in both teaching and scholarly activity.

Congratulations to all!
