The enrollment period for GatorGradCare summer-only coverage is now open. Summer-only coverage is effective May 16 to August 15. Students must be appointed .25 FTE or greater as a GA/TA/RA for the summer term to participate.

Earlier this year, President Fuchs announced a salary increase plan for University of Florida faculty and staff. Under this program, faculty, postdoctoral associates and staff who were hired on or before June 30, 2016, will receive a 1.5 percent across-the-board salary increase effective Jan. 1, 2017.

The University of Florida’s Office of Technology Licensing signed a record 122 licenses and options and launched 17 startup companies in fiscal year 2015-16, topping last year’s total of 85 licenses by 43 percent.
A new app, Chard Snyder Mobile, is now available to participants in its flexible spending accounts (FSA) and HSA Advantage accounts. The app enables participants to use their smartphones or tablets to access their accounts, view claims and receipts and file for reimbursement.
