GatorGradCare open enrollment underway for 2016-2017 academic year

Graduate assistants, teaching assistants and research assistants who will meet the eligibility requirements for GatorGradCare Health Insurance and would like to participate for the 2016-2017 academic year must enroll online at https://bluebiz.bcbsfl.com/stuenroll/GatorGradCare.do.

Please note that GatorGradCare enrollment is not automatic. All eligible GAs, RAs, TAs, including returning students previously on GatorGradCare, must submit a 2016-2017 enrollment if they would like to be included under the plan.

The deadline for annual GatorGradCare coverage for the 2016-2017 policy year is Sept.14.

Departments must ensure that GA jobs and terminations are entered in PeopleSoft in a timely manner. Known delays should be reported to the GA Benefits Office by emailing gabenefits@admin.ufl.edu. Departments should be using the most current Letter of Appointment template for GAs found on the Academic Personnel website here.
