Save the date for Open Enrollment, Benefits and Wellness Fair

Other than a qualifying status change event — such as a birth, adoption, marriage or divorce — the annual Benefits Open Enrollment period is the one time during the year that you can make or change state and UF benefits selections.

This year’s Open Enrollment period will take place Oct. 15 through Nov. 2. The Benefits and Wellness Fair will be held Thursday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Champions Club at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. The annual fair provides an opportunity for faculty and staff to meet with benefits and retirement vendors to learn about offerings as well as to explore the programs and services available on campus to support your health and well-being.

ALEX — UF’s online benefits counselor tool — will also be back again this year to help you easily explore and choose the best benefits options for you.

To get ready for Open Enrollment and ensure you receive important materials, please review (and, if needed, update) your mailing address in myUFL and the State of Florida’s People First system by Sept. 30. To view or update your mailing address in myUFL, go to: myUFL > Main Menu > My Account > Update My Directory Profile and make sure the information under “Local Home Data” is correct. To update your address in People First, log into your account and click on “Personal Info” to view your mailing address on file.

Look for more information, including details about ALEX, in upcoming issues of UF at Work. Questions? Email benefits@ufl.edu or call (352) 392-2477.
