CLAS faculty to share perspectives on anti-Black racism and healing trauma in “Toward Antiracism” event

This Thursday, Nov. 12, join Dean David Richardson and faculty from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences for an evening of listening and discussion. “Toward Antiracism: Understanding Anti-Black Racism and Healing Racial Trauma” will be held via Zoom Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and will feature the following panelists and topics:

  • Della Mosley, PhD, Assistant Professor of Psychology, “A Plan for Preventing Racial Trauma”
  • David Canton, PhD, Director of African American Studies, “African American Studies: A Discipline Designed to Deconstruct Racism and Construct Social Justice”
  • Lance Gravlee, PhD, Associate Professor of Anthropology, “Dismantling Racism on Campus and Beyond”
