Gallery showcases local children’s photography
Florida Museum of Natural History photographer Kristen Grace and school outreach coordinator Alberto Lopez Torres did not let COVID-19 stop them from teaching their photography camp to kids around Alachua County. They simply took it online, partnering with four local community centers to give summer campers the opportunity to learn the basics of nature photography virtually. The children’s work is on display through Nov. 30 at the Florida Museum in a gallery featuring 49 photographs taken during this month-long summer program.
