It’s Election Day! Have you had a chance to vote?

If you are registered and have not already voted, today’s the day! As a reminder, polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and anyone waiting in line at 7 p.m. will still have the opportunity to cast a ballot. If you need to locate your polling place, you can find it on the Voter Information Lookup website. Be sure to bring a valid photo ID and signature identification.

With so many options for early voting and local polling places, we hope you have already had the opportunity to vote. If you need extra time – for example, for time off to travel to a polling place outside of the county – administrative leave may be available. If you need assistance, please speak to your supervisor or reach out to our UFHR Leave Administration team at benefits@ufl.edu.

While you are encouraged to actively participate and engage in activities surrounding the election, please be sure to keep in mind UF policy related to campaigning or otherwise supporting campaign activities during your workday or using UF resources.

Regardless of the outcome, remember we are stronger together than divided, as our fellow faculty, staff and students remind us in this Election Day message.
