Each year, UF TEAMS employees are eligible to cash out up to 16 hours of vacation leave before the holiday season, provided a minimum of 40 hours remains on balance. This year’s leave cash-out period runs from Monday, Oct. 30, through Wednesday, Nov. 9. Eligible participants will receive the cash-out payment in their Nov. 17 paycheck.
TEAMS leave cash-out hours must be entered no later than midnight on Nov. 8 and approved by the supervisor no later than the deadline of 10 a.m. on Nov. 9, as Nov. 10 is a holiday and payroll is closing 1 day early. Departments are responsible for ensuring that no more than 16 hours are cashed out and that 40 hours remain after the cash-out hours have been deducted.
