Mothers receive free ‘Butterfly Rainforest’ admission May 7-8

On Mother’s Day weekend, moms receive free admission to the “Butterfly Rainforest” exhibit as well as a 10 percent discount on museum associates memberships. Not valid with other offers or discounts. Museum celebrates new ‘Wicked Plants: The Exhibit’ opening May 14

Join the museum for a fun-for-all-ages celebration of its newest featured exhibit, “Wicked Plants” on May 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. While the exhibit has an admission fee, the celebration activities are free and an exciting first stop on a journey to learn more about some of Mother Nature’s most appalling creations! Blue Star Museums May 30- Sept. 5
The Florida Museum of Natural History is offering free admission to all fee-based exhibits for active duty U.S. military personnel and their families, beginning Monday, May 30, on Memorial Day through
Monday, Sept. 5, on Labor Day, as part of the Blue Star Museums program.

Free admission is available to any active duty Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines or Coast Guard personnel, as well as members of the National Guard and Reserve, U.S. Public Health Service and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Commissioned Corps, plus up to five family members.
