Employee Education Program provides new possibilities for UF faculty and staff

Learn more at an informational workshop on Feb. 22

The Employee Education Program (EEP) is a popular benefit available to eligible UF faculty and staff. The program provides tuition assistance for up to six credit hours of eligible college-level courses per semester. (Read a recent story about the EEP in the Independent Florida Alligator.)

Full-time UF Academic Personnel, TEAMS employees and USPS employees who have been employed for at least six months and are in good standing may receive tuition assistance at the public state university closest to their work location. TEAMS employees may also attend classes at a public community or state college closest to their work location.

An EEP information workshop will be held on Thursday, Feb. 22, from noon to 1 p.m., in room 120 of the HR Building (903 W. University Avenue). The workshop is designed to offer employees attending Santa Fe College with program requirements, eligibility information and application procedures associated with participation in the EEP. It will also provide an opportunity for employees to discuss their questions and concerns related to pursuing their educational goals with an academic advisor. All who are interested are encouraged to attend.
