Updated 4/8/19: Please note that the deadline has been extended to April 30, 2019.
Each year, the TaxWatch Productivity Awards (formerly Prudential Productivity Awards) honor state employees for their innovative and cost-saving accomplishments as well as the measurable contributions, increased productivity and added value of individuals and teams.
For the 30th anniversary of the program, the 2019 awards are introducing distinct categories — Technology/Innovation, Quality of Life, Service Delivery Improvement and Agency of the Year — with the hope of capturing an even wider range of the services that Florida’s excellent public sector employees provide.
Any full-time or OPS state employee can be nominated. Nominations should reflect an innovative or outstanding idea or practice that has led or will lead to taxpayer savings, improved service delivery or overall taxpayer value. Self-nominations as well as team nominations are also eligible. Teams for categories other than Agency of the Year are limited to five members.
