Alachua County School District offering free summer meals

This summer, any Alachua County child who is 18 years or younger can receive a free breakfast and lunch at one of 81 locations through the Alachua County Public Schools Food and Nutrition Department’s free summer meals program. The department’s food truck will also visit three neighborhoods to serve meals: Hidden Oaks, Majestic Oaks and the SWAG Family Resource Center.

Students do not have to be enrolled at the location to participate, and the program is open to any child regardless of family income.

For details on meal sites and serving dates and times, call (352) 955-7539 or visit www.acpsfood.com and click on the yellow box labeled “Free Summer Meals.” You can also download the Nutrislice app to find the location nearest to you and view menus.
