Baby Gator celebrates Campus Children’s Centers week

From Oct. 8 to 14, UF’s Baby Gator Child Development and Research Center and campus children’s centers around the world will celebrate the first Celebrating Campus Children’s Centers Week, an effort organized by the National Coalition for Campus Children’s Centers to recognize the vital work children’s centers around the globe do each day.

Baby Gator provides services and support to more than 300 UF families, as well as hundreds of students and departments each year, through high-quality early childhood programs that support children’s overall health and development. During the recognition week, the team will invite parents and UF faculty and staff to visit the center to read to children. The team will also visit different locations across campus, pitch in on campus beautification efforts by collecting trash and recognize their campus partners.

For more information or ways to join the celebration, contact Associate Director Kelly Jamison at keljs@ufl.edu or visit the Baby Gator website.
