The Career Resource Center, the University of Florida’s centralized career center, has changed its name. The department, which serves students, employers and the campus community, is now known as the Career Connections Center.
The newly named center will continue to help students identify their interests and prepare them for professional opportunities. It will also focus on educating students about the importance of gaining experience through the career development process.
“We want students to engage in career exploration, early and often,” said Ja’Net Glover, senior director for Career Services. “These experiences are defining moments in having students define their passion, purpose and meaning.”
