UF “CoMap” survey invites you to share how you live, work and socialize

uf co-mapThe University of Florida, with support from the Gainesville community, has launched a project that will affect the university for many decades.

The UF Strategic Development Plan will identify ways to create a physical environment conducive to preeminence by determining what makes a great university town, including housing, transportation and overall infrastructure.

As a first step, the university is inviting all UF students, faculty, staff and the greater Gainesville community to complete a “CoMap” survey* found at ufmapgainesville.com.  This interactive map of the greater Gainesville area enables survey participants to place icons where they live, work and socialize as well as to indicate their typical transportation routes and leave comments.

This mapping exercise will help to create a rich picture that will enable UF leaders to see how the university functions today and what the strategic development plan should include for the future.

The survey, which will be open through Thursday, April 21, should take approximately 10 minutes to complete and is designed to work on most mobile devices. Faculty and staff are also encouraged to forward this information to others.
