COMPASS update: New processes for grading and degree certification

UF’s COMPASS (Campus-wide Modernization Program to Advance Student Services) implementation is unifying systems to benefit students as well as faculty and staff who access student-related information. New processes related to grades and degree certification were implemented on Sept. 24.

UF faculty and staff who assign grades, issue end-of-term grades and/or certify degrees are reminded to visit the related UF Human Resources toolkits and take the related training well in advance of their process deadlines. Toolkits for grades, degree certification and other processes related to the Student Information System (including links to instruction guides, online training, security roles and contact information) can be found on this UFHR website and are also linked to from the COMPASS website.

The Office of the University Registrar is also emailing faculty and staff regarding the new procedures.
