Florida minimum wage increase effective Jan. 1, 2019

In January, the state minimum wage increased by 21 cents from $8.25 to $8.46 per hour. UF Human Resources has identified employees, including OPS, STAS and FWSP, who are currently earning an hourly rate less than $8.46 per hour and has implemented the increase. No action is required from departments or colleges. The raises will be reflected in employee paychecks on Friday, Jan. 18.

The university’s minimum hourly wage for TEAMS and USPS employees will remain at $13.
