Graduate Assistants (GAs), Teaching Assistants (TAs) and Research Assistants (RAs) appointed .25 FTE or greater may participate in GatorGradCare health insurance for the 2019–2020 academic year. Please note that GatorGradCare enrollment is not automatic; all eligible GAs, RAs and TAs, including returning GAs previously on GatorGradCare, must complete 2019–2020 enrollment to participate in the plan.
The fall enrollment deadline for GatorGradCare coverage is Sept. 14, and enrollments cannot be accepted after the deadline. Please submit your enrollment as soon as possible to expedite processing.
Those participating in GatorGradCare pay a nominal monthly premium of $10 for individual coverage per the collective bargaining agreement between the UF Board of Trustees and Graduate Assistants United (GAU). The GatorGradCare employee and dependent premiums will be collected through payroll deduction.
