UF Procurement has introduced Amazon Business as a resource through which UF departments can purchase non-contracted, UF-business-related supplies.
Amazon Business provides many benefits, including free two-day shipping on Prime-eligible items, automatic tax-exempt purchasing on items sold by Amazon.com LLC and participating third-party sellers, business pricing and quantity discounts, and access to a specialized business-only customer service team.
As part of this resource, UF has created a centralized Amazon Business account and requests that any users with existing Amazon Business accounts migrate to the UF account. The migration of your account will not impact your purchasing process; you will continue to log in using your same user credentials. You will simply need to deregister your existing Amazon Business account so that you can be added to UF’s main account. Keep an eye on your email for instructions on how to migrate your account.
All Amazon business-related purchases should be placed through the centralized UF Amazon Business account. If you do not have an existing Amazon Business account and would like to request access to be added to UF’s main account, please email Procurement@ufl.edu.
