Registration for summer training opens April 11
Online diversity and inclusion course among new offerings
Make time this summer to invest in your own professional development. Take advantage of opportunities to improve your communication, leadership or knowledge of UF business systems and processes. You can also earn certifications in these areas through our Managing at UF, Business Communications or Pro3 certifications.
As always, UF Training and Organizational Development’s (UF T&OD) full range of online courses is available anytime. “Diversity & Inclusion at UF” (GET789) is a new online course that outlines key components of equal employment opportunity and diversity at the University of Florida. This course utilizes case study videos and graphic novels to demonstrate inclusive behaviors as well as highlight key moments in history that have had an impact on inclusion in higher education.
This summer the popular and newly revamped 7 Habits of Highly Effective People workshop returns. Many people who attend this training describe the experience as the beginning of a lifetime journey. A $2,195 value, this workshop is provided to University of Florida employees for $195. Two separate sessions will be offered on Tuesday, May 17, and Friday, July 15. Space is very limited.
