Resources available to support leaders and TEAMS staff as UF Engaged officially launches

Beginning this week, many UF leaders and TEAMS staff will begin receiving the first system-generated reminders notifying them that it’s time to complete their Quarterly Check-ins. This first wave of notifications represents the official “launch” of UF Engaged, a new approach designed to encourage regular performance feedback to TEAMS employees, rather than a once-a-year evaluation.

To learn more, check out this introductory video that gives a brief overview of how the new Quarterly Check-in process works.

While check-ins will happen on a quarterly basis, providing meaningful feedback is an ongoing process. You can find more instruction guides, job aids and suggested courses on the Resources section of the UF Engaged website. And if you missed our Sept. 16 Town Hall, you can now view the recording online.

Additional sessions of UF Training and Organizational Development’s popular course “The Power of Feedback” were also recently added. In this course, leaders can learn how to deliver feedback about job performance and work-related behavior as well as discuss how to summarize feedback on a quarterly basis. Registration is now open for the following sessions:

  • Oct. 17, 9 a.m. to noon, 120 HR Building
  • Nov. 14, 9 a.m. to noon, 120 HR Building
