The Open Enrollment period for 2017 is scheduled for Oct. 17 through Nov. 4. During Open Enrollment, employees may make elections or change state and UF benefits plans through the appropriate online portals. Changes made during this fall’s Open Enrollment period are effective Jan. 1, 2017.
UF’s annual employee Benefits Fair is scheduled for Oct. 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Touchdown Terrace at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. The Benefits Fair is your opportunity to meet with benefits and retirement vendors to learn more about available plan options.
UF employees eligible for the State of Florida’s benefits plans are encouraged to visit the state’s myBenefits website, and all employees may visit the UF Human Resource Services’ website for updates on benefits plan changes, enrollment information and more.
Employees should review and update their mailing address information by Sept. 30 to ensure timely delivery of Open Enrollment materials. Addresses should be verified and updated in both UF’s myUFL and the State of Florida’s People First systems. More information on how to verify your address may be found here.
