Town hall meetings, open forums will provide opportunities to share and discuss results of Faculty & Staff Climate Survey

campus climate surveyDesigned to help determine how well the university fosters an overall sense of belonging for its faculty and staff, the UF Faculty and Staff Climate Survey was available for completion from Oct. 27 through Nov. 27 of 2015.

The overall response rate for the survey was 36.1 percent (n = 5,590).  In June 2016, Rankin & Associates (the consultant engaged to coordinate the survey) will be on campus to discuss high-level summaries of the findings from a university-wide perspective.   A report of these findings also will be available and will be provided on the survey website once it is provided to UF in June.

The town hall meetings with Rankin & Associates will be held as follows—first in June and then again in September for those who are not on campus over the summer.  No registration is needed to attend.

  • June 14, 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., Deweese Auditorium, McKnight Brain Institute
  • June 14, 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., Pugh Hall Ocora*
  • September 29, 8:30 to 10:00 a.m., J. Wayne Reitz Union Chamber

Join the Conversation

Starting in late June, faculty and staff forums will be held to continue the conversation.  Over the summer and into early fall, forums will be held to provide the campus community with opportunities to review and discuss the results, share their thoughts on the most salient results to them, and begin to brainstorm action items/next steps.
