Weider named assistant vice president and university controller
Olga Weider has been named assistant vice president and university controller in UF’s Division of Finance and Accounting. She joined the Finance and Accounting division in 2017 as an assistant controller with auxiliary accounting.
Under Weider’s leadership, the auxiliary team expanded its services, acting in an advisory capacity to auxiliaries and service centers across campus on procedural and compliance matters and collaborating with units to ensure good stewardship of university resources. She was later promoted to Senior Associate Controller, leading payroll and tax services, general accounting and financial reporting and auxiliary accounting — providing core financial services to the UF community.
