Explore July Fourth festivities

July Fourth celebrations kick off tomorrow and run through Saturday, featuring panels, parades, fireworks, live music, delicious food and more. In observance of the holiday, UF will close on July 3 for non-essential TEAMS employees and academic personnel.

HEO scholarship awarded to 237 children of faculty and TEAMS employees

237 eligible faculty and TEAMS employees’ children were recently awarded the Higher Education Opportunity, or HEO, scholarship. The scholarship program provides tuition assistance to 150 children of full-time TEAMS employees and 100 children of out-of-unit faculty for an undergraduate education at UF — or at any public community or state college in Florida if the student is not accepted to UF.
