Join the Center for the Study of Race and Race Relations (CSRRR) for its annual spring lecture on March 14 at the Levin College of Law. During the lecture, Judge Mark W. Bennett will discuss implicit bias in the courts. A reception will follow.

Bennett graduated from law school at Drake University and was appointed a United States District Court judge in Iowa in 1994 and became chief judge in 2000. He started his own law firm in Des Moines, Iowa, where he specialized in constitutional, civil rights and employment discrimination.
