Join UF professors Sharon Austin, PhD, and Paul Ortiz, PhD, on Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. in Pugh Hall as they discuss their groundbreaking books on race, history and politics. Austin and Ortiz examine the impact, struggles and development of minority politics in America in their respective publications, The Caribbeanization of Black Politics: Race, Group Consciousness, and Political Participation in America and An African American and Latinx History of the United States.
