ResBaz Gainesville: Research Bazaar, Sept. 11–13

Sept. 11–13
Smathers Library and the Health Sciences Center Library

The Research Bazaar is a worldwide festival promoting the digital literacy emerging at the center of modern research. ResBaz Gainesville will be hosted at the University of Florida on Sept. 11–13, through the collaborative efforts of the UF Carpentry Club, the UF Libraries, R-Ladies Gainesville, UF Research Computing and the UF Innovation Hub.

In the spirit of a marketplace or bazaar, ResBaz Gainesville is an inclusive and participatory event where everyone is welcome—students, researchers, educators, scientists, engineers and more—to learn, share knowledge and skills, build tools and connections, and have fun!

No research or coding experience is required.

There’s an exciting line up of speakers, discussion panels, demos and networking events. For more information and a schedule of events, please visit this website.

Registration is free, and includes participation in all events. There is an optional $10 charge for lunch, which covers all three days. Thursday’s mixer at Cypress & Grove is BYOB (buy your own beverages). Friday’s mixer at the UF Innovation Hub is free and includes catered food and drink.
