UF Performing Arts to host National Geographic filmmaker

The Florida Museum of Natural History and the University of Florida Performing Arts present “National Geographic Live: Untamed” on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts beginning at 7:30 p.m. “National Geographic Live” is a night of exploration through film, photography and discussion with acclaimed National Geographic photographers. Filmmaker Filipe DeAndrade is a UF graduate and the entertaining star of Nat Geo WILD’s “Untamed,” which gives his unfiltered look at what it’s like to come face to face with wild animals, survive extreme environments and make unexpected discoveries. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children and University of Florida students.
