AI Spotlight – College of Journalism and Communications
The College of Journalism and Communications (CJC) has a strong foundation in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Recognized as one of the best journalism and communication programs in the United States, CJC faculty use AI to address a number of issues, including the identification and elimination of misinformation.
As part of the University of Florida’s AI initiative, the College of Journalism and Communications is among those colleges and units at UF who are hiring faculty with an AI background. The new faculty will work with the Consortium on Trust in Media and Communication, to explore how AI can be used to identify and combat the spread of misinformation and restore trust in news and other media.
