Amplifying Black Voices: Biomedical Engineering celebrates excellence, inspires change

The UF J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering’s latest publication features faculty, students and alumni from a variety of backgrounds and points of view, demonstrating the rich and varied experiences that drive the department’s success and innovation. Contributors to the issue were invited to write about what makes them most proud, yielding an issue that celebrates the department’s leadership, talents and triumphs.

UF’s Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering is home to more Black women tenured and tenure-track faculty members in engineering than any other college or university in the country.
