Be sure to watch your mail for important tax reporting documents

In addition to filing your W-2, the IRS requires reporting of health insurance coverage information for the 2017 federal income tax reporting year. Information from IRS Form 1095-B and/or Form 1095-C must be included with individuals’ income tax return. Beginning this year, the University of Florida was required to furnish each full-time employee and each full- or part-time employee who was enrolled in the State of Florida’s Group Health Insurance with a new IRS Form 1095.


New IRS Form 1095 to be distributed to employees

Beginning this year, employees will receive a new IRS form to assist in preparing their income tax returns—the 1095-C, Employer Provided Insurance Offer and Coverage.
