myUFL Portal upgrade slated for Jan. 16

The myUFL portal will undergo an upgrade on Jan. 16, 2018. The portal will remain as an entry point for HR and financial systems, and staff and faculty accessing student information. Menu options and access will continue to be based on approved security roles.

The new mobile-friendly navigation, or “NavBar,” will be located on the righthand side of the myUFL home screen and will adjust and conform to any smartphone, tablet or large-screen device. The upgrade will also include:

  • Cross-browser compatibility
  • The ability to create specialized workspaces
  • A new look and feel

HR and Financials menu items will be included in the NavBar Main Menu for easy access.

IMPORTANT: Faculty and staff should note that Favorites will need to be re-added after Jan. 16, and to assist in this process, a guide to record and re-add favorites can be found in this COMPASS story.

UFHR’s Training and Organizational Development team has developed a video tour of the new interface as well as Just-in-Time Training materials within the myUFL Basics Toolkit.
