Nearly 15 tons of cardboard recycled during move-in

Move-in weekend is one of the busiest times of the year at UF, with students and their loved ones rushing to settle into their new dorms. This year, the Recycling & Solid Waste team partnered with UF Housing to recycle nearly 15 tons of cardboard from student move-in, diverting almost 30,000 pounds of waste from the landfill.
