UF Dean Laura A. Rosenbury elected ninth president of Barnard College
The Board of Trustees at Barnard College has elected Laura A. Rosenbury, J.D., currently the first woman Dean at the UF Levin College of Law, to assume the role of president of Barnard College, effective July 1, 2023. She will be the institution’s ninth president in its 134-year history.
“Dean Rosenbury’s strategic focus and determined leadership elevated UF’s law school,” said UF President Ben Sasse, Ph.D. “I’m confident that President Rosenbury will do the same at Barnard College. We’ve got big shoes to fill in the upcoming dean search, but we’re proud of our friend and colleague.”
