Study examining communication between mothers diagnosed with breast cancer and their daughters seeks participants

A UF research study that aims to understand the experiences of mothers with breast cancer and the young adult daughters who give care to these mothers is seeking participants. Both mothers who have been diagnosed as well as young adult (18 to 39-year-old) daughters whose mothers are in treatment for breast cancer (e.g., radiation, chemotherapy, surgery), who help care for their mothers in some way (e.g., provide support, go to appointments) are invited to participate.

Participants will be asked to share their experiences in an online survey that will take 20 to 30 minutes to complete. Mothers’ and daughters’ surveys will be completed separately and privately. Upon completion, participants will receive a $50 Amazon gift card.
