Effort Reporting Town Hall slated for April

New Commitment Accounting security roles, associated training effective March 1

New “Florida Fresh” app makes gardening and choosing produce easier than ever

Growing and eating your vegetables just got easier with the free UF/IFAS veggie app, “Florida Fresh.” Simply enter your ZIP code and the app will tell you what vegetables to plant at that particular time of year. Touch any of the photos and the app provides information about each fruit and vegetable— including planting tips—as well as the best varieties for Florida and nutritional value. You can also find out about the seasonal availability of Florida-grown produce.


Couch to 5K program kicks off March 21

UF Diabetes Institute sponsors 5K Fun Run March 26

On Saturday, March 26, the UF Diabetes Institute and the student organization UF CODE will host a 5K Fun Run and Family Health and Wellness Day from 8 a.m. to noon on the UF campus.

Library West opens lactation room

The George A. Smathers Libraries recently announced the creation of a new lactation room to support UF families. Any University of Florida community member—faculty, student or employee—may use the lactation room. The key to the room is available on request at the Library West Circulation Desk.
