UF Diabetes Institute sponsors 5K Fun Run March 26

uf diabetes instituteOn Saturday, March 26, the UF Diabetes Institute and the student organization UF CODE will host a 5K Fun Run and Family Health and Wellness Day from 8 a.m. to noon on the UF campus. In addition to the run, the event will feature free health screenings, kids’ activities, fitness classes and more.

Activities will be held at the Clinical and Translational Research Building on the corner of Mowry Road and Gale Lemerand Drive. Participants may park in the commuter lot or in the parking garage adjacent to the building.

A few details about the run:

  • $10 to run and registration includes race day t-shirt. Runners must register in advance on Active.com.
  • The run loops through campus, beginning and ending at the Commuter Lot on Gale Lemerand Drive.
  • Check-in begins at 7:45 a.m.
  • The race begins at 8:30 a.m.
