Listening sessions on inclusive excellence this September

Earlier this summer, UF Chief Diversity Officer Marsha McGriff, Ed.D., announced her office was working with Damon Williams, Ph.D. , and his team at the Center for Strategic Diversity Leadership and Social Innovation to conduct a strategic assessment of diversity, equity and inclusion efforts at the University of Florida. A key component of this assessment will be a series of facilitated community-building and dialogue sessions designed to better understand the lived experiences of students, faculty and staff.

Your voice is essential to advancing UF’s inclusive excellence efforts. If you are interested in sharing your thoughts and experiences in a listening session, please be on the lookout for an invitation from the Office of the Chief Diversity Officer to be sent later this week. You will be invited to select from and participate in a virtual session that most closely aligns with your role at UF.

As students head home, on-campus construction ramps up

While you may have enjoyed a relatively easier commute to campus this morning, construction activity on-campus is picking up speed. Beginning today, the intersection of Gale Lemerand Drive and Museum Road is closed for utilities work that is expected to continue through Aug. 14.

Throughout the summer semesters, the current Orange and Blue Campus Connector routes will be merged into a single Summer Circulator route running from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Service will still be provided to each stop approximately every 15-20 minutes throughout the day.

It’s tax time — Be on the lookout for W-2 and 1095 forms

By now you should be able to access your W-2 form in myUFL or the ONE.UF application, or you should soon be receiving it in the mail if you did not give consent to access it electronically.
